The content of corporate services is scattered across the internet on various service providers' websites, making it sometimes cumbersome to search for essential and up-to-date information. We combined our expertise with the specialists of the City of Tampere and developed an AI-based assistant that finds and summarizes information using natural language – the implementation utilizes Microsoft Azure services and large language models (LLM).

City of Tampere's employment and growth services and Business Tampere organized an innovation competition to improve the targeting of business services, and Veracell's proposal for an LLM-based chat was selected as one of the winners. We further ensured the project's proper focus through service design, in collaboration with business service experts, and refined the project's goals accordingly.
Our solution, leveraging Azure OpenAI, collects the necessary information from the internet using web scraping tools and stores it in a Azure AI Search. GPT-4 then finds the correct, up-to-date information from there and can respond to users' questions based on it. A test interface is currently in use, and in the future, the solution can be integrated into the City of Tampere's applications via an interface. The project is part of the City of Tampere's "Smart City for Citizens" development program's flagship initiative "Data into Services for Businesses."
